Juneteenth 2019 - Utah Celebrations

Juneteenth commemorates the day on June 19, 1865 that the last slaves in the United States were freed in Galveston, Texas, almost two and a half years following the Emancipation Proclamation that officially ended slavery. African Americans call this day Freedom Day, and mark it with celebrations around the country.
